Cheri K. Williams
Chief Financial Officer
Cheri Williams, a Canfield, Ohio native, graduated from Youngstown State University with a B.S. degree in Biology and Chemistry. Her early years in Ohio were spent with her parents who were dedicated to instilling in her a love of the outdoors, the animals, the plants, and all things "Nature." However, upon entering the job market, she decided to choose Business over Biology and started her post-graduate career in accounting.
Cheri holds her Series 7 and Series 66 Securities Registrations and is one of our Licensed Administrators, as well as a backup for John McKeon. Her many years in corporate accounting and attention to detail have uniquely qualified her for her position as the Chief Financial Officer of McKeon Financial, which she has held since the inception of McKeon Financial in January 2004.
During the times when she's not in the Washington office, Cheri takes advantage of the power of computers and telecommutes daily with the office. Cheri and her husband David married shortly after graduation. They have one daughter, Heidi, who is the wife of John McKeon. Cheri's hobbies include her Golden Retrievers with which she has earned U.S. and Canadian obedience titles. She's a member of the Youngstown All Breed Training Club, The Salem Hunting Club, and the NE Ohio Conservation Association.
Her idea of fun in Washington State is to pack up the dogs and take her Jeep up into the mountains on the forest service roads to enjoy the scenery, hiking, and 4x4ing. Cheri is an avid hiker. She also enjoys playing the piano and dulcimer, art and dabbling in watercolor painting when time permits. Cheri is a member of the Snohomish County Volunteer Search and Rescue's Operational Support Unit and regularly responds to missions when she's in Washington State.
